Leadership and Management
Effective, principled, and innovative management and leadership are essential to shaping an equitable OST system that responds to the realities and well-being of young people, families, and staff in our OST community. As the OST community moves into a post-pandemic new world, preparing managers and leaders at all levels to re-imagine and then create the OST future we want for our Cambridge youth and families has never been more important.

Participants will have an opportunity to develop their personal Youth Worker identities, and clarify their own youth development practices and philosophies towards youth advocacy. Participants will understand oppressive factors, systems and structures that limit and challenge youth leadership and learn how to effectively address them.
